Remnants of a conversation
As I was walking through Paris, walking alongside the Seine. I stumbled upon Park De Jardin des Tuileries. Whilst I was there, I started to notice how there were all these seemingly empty chairs scattered around the park.
For me, surrounded by the way the chairs were left behind. Showed me an echo of the conversations that might have happened in those chairs. Remnants of a conversation invites the viewer or reader to imagine what those conversations might have been.
The book can be separated into three different elements. As you open the book you notice that the pages are blank. such as to represent the conversations that might have been had in those chairs. And what could have been written down during those conversations?
The second exists as the pictures in the middle of the book. They show you the physical form of those conversations.
And the third and last is the book itself. Which acts as a manifestation of those chairs. The book can be positioned in whichever manner the reader chooses, and therefore bestows the echo of his experience reading the book to the next reader.
